An abbreviated worship service and Annual Congregational Meeting for Stettler United Church.
***Please note that we'll host both the worship service and meeting in the CE Hall, not the sanctuary, this week.***
Often our Annual Congregational Meeting is held earlier in the year. This year we delayed it, hoping we'd be able to have a sizable in-person attendance by now. Living with Covid still doesn't allow that at this time. Thus, we have the option of in-person and via Zoom (details below).
During the Season of Easter we focus on 'appearance' stories. This week's gospel reading is Luke 24:36-48. Jesus came as a Messiah different from what was expected. Until people could see with new eyes, they missed the message and hopeful outlook he brought.
As we review 2020 and look to the future in faith -- we need to see Jesus, our congregation, community and world with new eyes! Please review the annual report (link to church website) Please prayerfully consider your participation in our mission and ministry into the rest of 2021 and beyond.
