Recognition of World Food Day is very important as we live with climate extremes and the health challenges and economic slowdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. “More people slid into chronic hunger in 2020 than in the previous five years combined,” says the World Food Programme’s executive director David Beasley.
Jan is off to share some family time this weekend and Sue and Joyce will lead the service that's been prepared by our United Church of Canada. We are grateful for the resource and their leadership.
