With our gospel focus being Mark 13:1-8, our theme this Sunday is Birth Pangs. Hope is proclaimed in the midst of catastrophe in this passage. We ask ourselves: When "it's the end of the world as we know it" what might God be creating next -- and through whom??
The other reading we'll share is from 1 Samuel 1:4-20 Hannah is childless, but God surprises her. She then knows God ‘s intention to overturn the status quo.
