Worship for the 4th Sunday of Epiphany
January 30/22 ~ 95th Anniversary of Stettler United Church (in-person at 10:30 a.m.)
Each year we celebrate our church's birthday late in January (similar timing to the dedication service for our building/sanctuary). It's a 'January Thaw' kind of feeling to have something to celebrate in the midst of winter. Part of this Sunday's celebration will be to receive Thelma (Lysgaard) Buchan's transfer of membership through reaffirmation of baptismal faith. Fittingly, our biblical texts are Jeremiah 1:4-10 (how to live according to God's vision for/of you) and 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 (the gifts of love).
