Worship ~ February 20th ~ Family Day Weekend & World Day for Social Justice
We're invited to read and reflect upon: Genesis 45:3-11, 15 (The Joseph story is an important story of reconciliation.) and Luke 6:27-38 (Jesus says that treating others the same way you want them to treat you includes those we might consider enemies.) Ask yourself the following question: How many of us have enemies and how many of us are enemies?
To quote Martin Luther King, Jr. There’s something about love that builds up and is creative. There is something about hate that tears down and is destructive. So love your enemies. (from "Loving Your Enemies")”
In person worship is @ 10:30 a.m. A pdf file is attached for those who want to prepare and/or have a virtual worship experience by reading the content and clicking the links to the music, etc.
