September 08th: Welcome Sunday ~ This will be the same as last year, so Small group leaders and participants, please start to think about what you will offer at your table for the progressive lunch.

Please…consider being a part of a fall meeting regarding ideas for building use. Joel Den Hamm (building use consultant United Church) is willing to come here to discuss different ways we can use the building to generate income. Please let Michele know if you would be willing to attend a meeting so we can connect with Joel in mid August for a September meeting.

Kid’s Cooking Camp ~ Is Full!!!: The camp starts Thursday July 04th 1 – 3 pm and will run every Thursday in July. Can you lend a hand? Please call Sylvia Peters 403-742-5840. The ladies could use a few extra hands.

Canadian Badlands Passion Play ~ The passion play, depicting the last days of Jesus’ life on earth is running from July 5 – 21st (weekends) in Drumheller. For tickets and more information please visit. . See Jan in her role as Simon Peter’s mother in law and her (along with a group of women) portrayal of a male priest at the temple.

May Pollocks great grandson Jake Rock needs a liver transplant. He is 8 years old and is in liver failure from a genetic disease called PFIC. He and his parents are in the Stollery Hospital waiting for a donor match. You can help support the family through the following fundraisers.
• July 09, starting at 5:30 pm ~ Rock for Jake with Sean Burns and the Windy City Band. Tailgate party in Stettler Community Hall parking lot starting at 5:30, concert starts at 7:00 pm, there will be a silent auction. Tickets by donation.
